I always heard sermons, songs, watched videos and preached for so many times that we are the generation that will see Jesus returning. I think its beautiful, motivator,  but, at the same time, each day this statement seems less and less faithful to the reality and almost paralyzing.

The most blessed person I met in Greece

[Nessas férias tive a oportunidade de voltar para o acampamento na Grécia que ajudei a reformar nas férias anteriores em missão pelo NUMCI/UNASP. Lá fiz amigos muito queridos e um deles foi um grade companheiro que me ensinou muito de inglês, traduziu minhas mensagens para o grego e em apenas 15 dias pudemos desenvolver uma amizade como se nos conhecêssemos há anos. [Last vacation I had the opportunity to come back to the greek camp that I helped on the maintenance on my previous vacation. There I made a lot of lovely friends and one of them became a great fellow that taught me a lot of English and in just 15 days we developed a friendship as we were friends from many years ago. Let me say very fast few things about me. My name is Constantine, I’m a triplet raised only by my mom and as a pure Greek I was Christian orthodox. That can't say much to you but my country is a Christian orthodox one and although everybody is raised as one, being baptized as babys etc. Not many care until they get old and death reaches to their doorsteps, well, that's the sad truth.

I was about fourteen when I actually got to meet Christ when a friend of mine invited me to her Seventh Day Adventist church. Of course it was confusing and overwhelming feeling for a young child raised pretty far away from church and I can say that it wasn't until very much later that I actually felt the connection. The summer came a years after I started visiting this church and it was time for summer camp. The real reason I wanted to go was the vacation of course but it turned out to so many more.
